Proprietary “Key Head” Design Tool Tip
The proprietary “Key Head” tool tip has been specifically designed to enhance the prying function of the tool while simultaneously increasing the capacity to scoop material out from crevices. Multiple points, ledges and voids create an efficient means to both grab/retain objects lodged in hard to reach places. The “Key Head” tool tip can be used at various angles with no effect on the overall performance and the quarter-circle back end provides a solid pivot point from which the tool can be used to pry with.
Ergonomic Handles For Maximum Grip
Specially designed ergonomic handles provide maximum grip and handling in any environment. These handles are a universal fitment made to adapt to all hand sizes while being fully ambidextrous. The shape of the ergonomic handles provide a definitive stopping point on both the top & bottom to which the tool cannot slide out of the user’s grip. Edges of the handles are contoured to comfortably roll with the palm of the hands and reduce pressure points. The grip texture imprinted into the handles provides maximum grip under any condition and especially excels in water.
Tool Tether Loop
The Crevice Key features a fixed tethering point to which the tool can be secured to whatever by whichever means deemed necessary. The tethering point itself was primarily implemented to be used by “Gold Snipers” so tools wouldn’t be lost while working underwater, but can also be used to attach the tool to packs, belts, etc. Design of the tethering point allows the tool to function as a bottle opener as a secondary feature.
Proprietary 15MM Diameter x 17MM / 19MM Length Vial Holster
Embedded into the ergonomic handle is the 15MM Diameter x 17MM / 19MM Length Vial Holster, a feature that incorporates on-board storage into the Crevice Key. The Vial Holster features a proprietary design to allow any 15MM Diameter glass vial to be inserted into the handle to be guarded by multiple fail-safes. The first failsafe is that the Vial Holster can only be loaded/unloaded from one direction only and that direction is always in contact with the user's palm. The second failsafe is the Neoprene double retainer rings that provide a secure holding force against the vial keeping it locked in place. The third failsafe is the grooves in the handles to which a rubberband/tape/etc (not included) can be nested into preventing vial back outs entirely. The opposing side of the one direction design allows the user to visibly see the contents of the vial while remaining fully secured in place. Realistically any 15MM Diameter glass vial can be used but the 17MM / 19MM Length glass vials will sit flush with the handle body.

3/16” (0.188”) Hardox 500® Plate is a bendable, weldable and highly abrasion-resistant steel with a nominal hardness of 500 HBW. Suitable for applications that demand higher wear resistance, Hardox 500® plate retains at least 90% of its surface’s hardness all the way to the core. Hardox 500® has 7-9 times longer wear life and over 3 times the hardness when compared to standard A36 Steel.

G10 is a high-pressure fiberglass/epoxy laminate composite initially developed for the electronics industry. G10 found its way into other realms due to its exceptional properties and dimensional stability.
