Ran a lot of dirt found some gold lost some also .. still trying to to get the angles and water flow right.. ready to try again soon now that the fires are mostly gone!

This is my first sluice. So maybe my experience is due to user error, but after taking it to the creek three times now I notice lots of gravel gets caught in the grate instead of being pushed out. This forces me to stop and clean the gravel stuck in the grooves every three shovels. As the gravel clogs up this grate, the concentrates get washed over and out of the sluice. I haven't found any gold here in upstate South Carolina yet, but I've found tons of garnets. These seem to have a similar weight density as the black sands and the garnet chips are collected in the dream mat vortices. I may not have any gold in my local creeks so the discovery of small gemstones is an unexpected bonus for me. All in all the full featured highbanker setup is well designed and should last me many years playing in the creeks.
Great product easy to set up and use and the dream mat is the best gold separator ever.
Love this setup. Although after setting up, my hose had a hole in it. It's hard plastic hose. I would think some rubber hose would fix this issue. Otherwise, already found gold in my concentrates.!!
I'm anxious to use it. I didn't get the hose or the valve with the unit. I found some hose at Home Depot but I still haven't found the valve to slow it down. I have it in an apartment and I made a trough for it to sit in and have a recovery tanks but I need that hose and valve. I thought it came with the hose and valve.
Works good as far as can see. No instuctions at all had to go with best guess on drop for flow. Your so popular, it's impossible to call. Wish had been able. To get the gold bags.
I'm still testing to see how it works for me. I have been surprised by the amount of cons. It's a very small amount about half a cup.
It's for clean up. Not really a high banker in my opinion.
I'm happy
It's an amazing gold catcher , I highly recommend it to everyone I see.
