I bought this 12" sluice to use primarily as a tool to see how my home built 4' x 8' shaker table is working. waste flow off of the shaker table runs through sluice box and at the end of a run is checked for the amount and type of gold that it catches to fine tune my shaker table. I am amazed at the ability of your product to catch gold at a wide range of flow rates!

dredge mat is the way to go!! if you got the right water flow itll eat material as fast as you can shovel it in. no more classifying is a huge deal too. saves you time and energy to stay on that gold longer. extra material ran=more gold!!

Loved how well the 8x47 worked, that I decided to go bigger to help run more material. While I havent used it yet, I know it will be as good as the one I have. Looking forward to spring! Heavy pans!
