Catches the gold. Even the micro dots. The guy at Prospectors Dream said I wouldn't need to classify, he was right. Spits out 2" rocks like it was nothing. Love this thing.

8X38 Compact Sluice Box with Combo Dream Mat | Gold Prospecting Equipment
Absolutely a fine gold catching mech makes cleaning the con very easy! I Have the conventional rifles after using this dream mat less cons to go through and catch more fine gold. When it sticks it sticks !! Thank dream mat I’m very happy
It's nice watching the action of the sands. Hoping to get some gold!
Got me a 50" folding sluice with miner's moss and graiting last year since I wanted to save the money compared to the dream mat. Ended up getting one a few months back and am sure glad I did. The easy clean out and setup is absolutely timeless and can be cleaned out into a bucket and set back up in under 2 minutes, it's just to simple. Then to top it all off it traps the fine gold like nothing else and is very forgiving on flow and angle. WILL NEVER MESS WITH ANY OTHER COMPETITORS AFTER USING DREAM MATS. A great company with an out of this world product!
Looks great, haven't been able to use it yet.

I ran 4 buckets of material using the sluice with a 3500 gph bilge pump. I had it at 9° and the bottom section loaded up with pebbles. Increased the angle to 15° and it still loaded, but the top section didn't catch anything. I'll continue to adjust the flow and angle in the hopes I get it right.

Great sluice and customer service is top notch!
Absolutely loved it,can't wait to take it to Scotland in a couple of weeks, back on the shiney
Works great! Reduces the amount of materials to pan very quickly. It holds the black sand and heavies while allowing the organics and round stones to pass quickly. With this sluice I count the number of buckets I process rather than the number of pans I checked.
Best sluice I’ve ever used, hands down
Best sluice! Light weight and perfect size for rivers or creeks, capturing both fines and coarse gold
Yup… It’s it It would be pretty cool to see how the 3rd mat pattern holds gold, but rarely anything goes past the micro matting… only a picker or two made it to the first or second row of Cape-D. Great product that has absolutely exceeded my expectations.
Just what I needed! Unfortunately I haven't been able to use this in a river yet. However, after going to the beach (and ordering the leg kit) and bringing a bunch of black sand home with me, I rigged up a quick header box and made a bigger recirculating sluice (I already have the Adventure Sluice w/Header box). After running about 3/4 of 2 gallon bucket of black sand I was very glad I'd gotten this!
