Almost no cons to sift, although I do work in a area that I encounter excessive black sand that tends to fill it up faster but I'm super happy with it, definitely upgrading and only shopping here from now on👍

I purchased this one at thermal city gold mine in North Carolina a couple months ago. I set the whole thing up in the container so it recirculates the water. I went through half a 5 gallon bucket in no time. I panned the tailings and only found a couple very small specks of gold so it’s super efficient. I liked it so well I ordered the same setup but w the highbanker attachment. I also bought the battery adapter for dewalt which so far works perfectly. As an additional note the first one had a voltage regulator to use w house current and it burned up right off the bat, I called and they sent a new power supply no questions asked. I let my brother run some of his material through this weekend and he is saving the rest since he’s gonna order his own. I’m very pleased w this equipment

I’ve owned many different mats over the years, all of the big name brands. Far and away this is this best mat I’ve purchased for gold recovery. Minnesota and Wisconsin prospectors look no further, these mats are for you.
The Sluice seems to work better in a natural creek. I have been able to shovel unclassified material in and rake the rocks out by hand if needed. It’s great for small streams. I have arthritis in my hand so it’s hard to pan.

What a dream. This is the Dream Mat 6 x 24 sluice. It shipped very quickly, arrived quickly, and I am very impressed with how well it is built. I can’t wait to get on the river and find me some gold. Well worth the money in my opinion so far. Sized just right as some of our Idaho rivers have a 24 inch sluice restriction.

There seam to be as many mats as there are crazy ideas for trapping gold. The truth is Dreammatt is special. It traps all sizes, you can easily see the cells exchanging and the clean up could not be easier. Prospecting equipment is crazy expensive for some reason and dreammatt does a great job across the board saving me time and money. This is my opinion, take it or leave it, that's how I feel. Dave K

Easy to use, Simply clean up., Built durable and to last. Light weight , perfect for day trips or backpacking trips. Just used it on a day prospecting trip and it found gold. Never classified, just shoveled material onto and had very good results. Used the Combo mat with 3 different riffle sizes, Worked very well!!! Being older the classifying stuff needs to be removed from my routine, My back loves this sluice! One of the best/ easiest sluices I've used in my gold mining career.
Currently the ice is too thick on the creeks. I will get back to you.
