8" x 24" Combo Dream Mat | High-Capacity Gold Prospecting Sluice Mat
Optimize your gold mining experience with this high-efficiency addition to your gold sluice box. Designed specifically for highbankers, custom sluice boxes, and serious prospectors, the 8" x 24" Combo Dream Mat features an innovative two-stage recovery system that ensures your gold is securely captured. By combining two distinct cell profiles into a single continuous run, these high-capacity mats capture fine flour gold while effortlessly handling heavy material loads—leaving you with significantly fewer concentrates to clean up.
A field-tested configuration to match your water flow and material conditions.
Micro / Micro-Dredge Combo
Built for ultimate precision fine gold capture, high-velocity vortex separation, and increased holding capacity.
Stage 1: Micro Profile (2nd Gen): An outstanding fine gold recovery section that acts as a highly visible indicator mat. It allows you to visually confirm your finds in real time without the gold migration issues common with other ribbed mats, performing flawlessly in high, steep, or low-flow scenarios.
Stage 2: Micro-Dredge Profile: Features a tight, hyper-efficient profile with over 2x the holding capacity of traditional mat designs. Its high-speed vortex cells utilize dynamic hydro-cyclone power to handle increased feed rates, spinning out light waste material and locking down fine gold instantly.
Best For: Fast feed rates, precision finishing, maximum yardage, and operations where fine gold retention and instant visual confirmation are the top priorities.
Key Features & Specifications:
Advanced 2-Stage Recovery: No single cell profile does everything. By combining two specialized profiles across an 8" width, these mats handle everything from microscopic flour gold to chunkier nuggets in a single run.
Gold-Tested & Proven: Developed directly from real-world prospector feedback and trusted by the Dream Mat user group for unmatched reliability.
Durable Polyurethane Construction: Built to withstand highly abrasive rocks, gravels, and heavy black sands season after season.
True-Fit Dimensions: Fits standard 8" wide sluice channels. Actual dimensions are approximately 8" wide x 23.5" long.
Please Note:
Mounting: Sluice clamp is sold separately.
Color: While the physical color of your polyurethane mat may vary based on production runs, its exceptional gold recovery performance never will.
Profile Note: The tight, complex cell structures of the Micro and Micro-Dredge sections may occasionally feature minor cosmetic air bubbles or surface imperfections from the molding process. These do not hinder the mat's functionality or fluid dynamics in any way.
What’s in your box? Pure recovery power. Transform your gold prospecting system today!
Customer Reviews
Overall rating: 5.0 / 5 from 3 reviews.
8"x24" micro dredge/mini dredge set up in a royal manufacturing mini highbanker. 1/8" punch plate/classifier behind the slick plate. Works perfectly. It's a must that you classify down much smaller than the cells. The material needs to spin and vortex to settle the heavy material at the bottom and throw out the light in each cell. You don't want the cell to jam and not vortex. I could not be more satisfied with the product. Effectiveness and ease of use=dream mat is the only option in my opinion. This combo mat in the highbanker has caught microscopic and picker sized gold in the first few inches. Would also work well in a sluice. Excellent product.
I got this mat to replace the 1 that came with this cleanup table. Easy to trim to size straight edge and a new blade, clamp was easy getting it to fit too.
Volcano fine print
A microscope is needed to identify the tattletales and read the fine print found in sandy volcanic tuffs. A sample of these fine grains is best obtained with a yabby pump and washed over the vortices of a micro/CapeD combo Dream Mat. The grains are rounded so a Dream Mat is absolutely essential to stop migration. The heavy mineral inicators get trapped in the wells while the lighter cons are cleaned off and out of the sample. Quick and efficient, saving time and effort. Let the mat pick out the junk so you don't have to. Definitely a labor-saving device. Gravity is your friend.
