Bought for my 6" aluminum sluice blank and the fit is perfect. I like that it nests inside the sluice sideways for packing. Always fast shipping from Prospectors Dream !

Im sorry I didnt make a video of me putting it on but it worked great I used it the very next day that thing is a micro catching machine. It is wanting to be a high banker now lol

I purchased this to use on my Gold Hog piglet mini extension to make it usable as a stream sluice. After a couple of mounting holes were drilled and two more legs added, it works great. I also use it as a tabletop sluice with a recirculating, system. It fit my application perfectly at 8" wide. I can also turn it around and run it as a flare on the piglet with a 10" wide sluice box at the end of the hibanker.

Both sides have about 1/8th inch gap not sure it might be my fault or design but works great for water flow
I added the flared inflet to my Dream Mat 8X38 Compact Combo Sluice Box. It was tricky due to the existing flared side walls on the sluice. I decided that since I was doing further modifications that I would put the flared inlet on the bottom and reverse the mats. This sluice is a monster now and I love it.
I like this flair because it does what it's supposed to do. It gives my sluice faster water which helps a bunch when I don't have enough to run it properly. It adds extra length to the sluice so when you feed it on the flair it allows the material to stratify before it his the mats. It's a great investment!
Great addition to the 6x42 sluice to increase water flow in lower flow areas.

Sluice flare was delivered promptly, was engineered to fit my sluice perfectly, extra bolts washers, nuts were supplied/appreciated. I packed it out in wilderness that next weekend, did bunch test pans to determine location for setting up sluice, ran it for 8 hours, classifying material before running it in sluice. On cleanouts, I did production planning to check for continued color, then dumped cons into container for running on miller table at home, and to make the best of daylight hours. Notes indicate I netted .67 gram, some nice chunky flakes/bits, not too many fines. The flare helped increase water flow so I could've actually run unclassified material down dream mat, We are in drought in northeast, and in Vermont mechanical powered equipment is not allowed. I attached this header on the "outflow" end of my sluice because fit better than on the flared "inflow" end. I just moved the clamp and flipped the dream mat the other direction. This header was very good at increasing flow through my sluice in the low flow winter conditions in Colorado right now.

I call this the Flow Amplifier. It really does the trick for slow, shallow streams when you need the extra volume of water to get the exchange rate up!
