Love this highbanker it's awesome! Lightweight but extremely durable. Love the powder coating on it. Im a professional powder coater and they did a great job on it. I bought the combo slice mat with it. and it works great for the fine gold in colorado. Extremely affordable. Great buy for me. Overall I love this highbanker.

The next gen combo mat is pretty amazing! I haven't got much gold with it because there was not much gold where I was digging but it was a good spot to set up the sluice. I got a tiny bit of super ultra mega nano gold, and I was running it way too fast. I'm a long time dream mat user and trust them completely.
Works like a dream even in a home made wooden sluice. Catching fine and big gold. Handles 1/2 classified no problem
It worked great I put a couple of 5 gallon buckets through there and got anywhere from medium to small pieces of gold and even some flour gold I tried it without classification and classifying the dirt
I started making clean up sluices back in 1996 when I retires. First, they were made from Rain Gutters with ribbed rubber mat and with carpet and exp metal overlay. Late I use expanded "U" shaped PVC and Keene Magic Mat. Now since Dream Mat, I use nothing but the best.
Great 2nd mat for out in the field. When water flow is a bit slower I use this mat instead of my mini dredge mat.

Great mat to use in my transformer sluice upper slot when running NC (or any) heavy-clay, or gravel pay. Classified first in a 5 gallon, wire-bucket basket in stream, the transformer sluice grabs both pickers and very-fine “fly speck” gold. Any left over flour gold finds a home in the down-flow micro or mini mat. Very happy with the set up for portability, flexibility and even “gold room” use. Gold just loves to “Do the Vortex Dance.”

I do recommend classifying your materials to at least 1/4” possibly further down for finer gold. Proper pitch /angle , 10 degrees is the hot zone with the right water flow. For a 16” mat I’m very impressed with the design of the combo mat and it’s performance for catching gold in the top 2 sections only. Upgraded my 6x42 cleanup sluice Put in the lower part of my 6x42 to make it a cleanup sluice, put original mat in for river/stream use. Can't wait to get over to SD claims to give it proper testing but from the other dream mat stuff I use I'm 99.99 % sure this is what I needed for flower gold,pickers,ect. Keep up the experimenting with mats.
