The Switch Back Light Rail is designed to fit snugly into the Switch Back Cleanup Sluice, providing underwater illumination directly where you need it.
Unlike a flashlight or overhead light shining down onto the sluice, the waterproof light sits below the waterline, helping reduce surface glare and creating a clear, glowing view of the sluice bed.

As we age, our eyes generally require more light to see fine details clearly. The Light Rail provides direct illumination of the sluice bed, making small details, black sand accumulation, air bubbles, and material movement easier to see without relying solely on ambient lighting.

Makes trapped air bubbles easier to see and pop, helping ensure better contact between the material and the sluice surface.

Monitor Feed Rate
Clearly see black sand and concentrate accumulation as it develops. This makes it easier to recognize when material is being fed too quickly and adjust the feed rate before overloading the sluice.

Work After Dark
Continue processing concentrates well into the evening. Many prospectors collect concentrates during the day and perform final cleanup back at camp after sunset. The Light Rail keeps the working area illuminated so cleanup can continue after daylight is gone.
