Fantastic sluice. Works great. Overall, i would have to say it catches at least 95% of gold. I've noticed that most of the gold stays at the top of the sluice. This thing is awesome i ran 4 different classifications through it from ¼ down and it caught it all. I even sluiced my paydirt again just to be sure and found 1 tiny little spec of gold second round. Sluice works great! Wish it were a little wider and longer. And a larger material feed portion. Pump seems over powered for this small of a sluice, had to close the vane almost completely to get it to not over wash the unit. Which in turn makes the pump work harder. Material gets stuck at the top and sides under the mat, easy clean up with a squirt bottle. Fun and relaxing to use. More hobby sluicing if you have not much material. Dream mat is awesome and cleans out very easy.

Awesome product I actually tried to get it to lose gold without adding 100 grams to it and it’s impossible so if your finding enough gold to lose or even think your running your material a little to fast your probably not. Only down fall I’ve had is this thing is whisper quite and about the 7th time I used it it started humming loudly. I’ve done everything I know to fix it by cleaning the pump etc but it is a great product and the humming is my fault for over running my material bucket at the end of the clean up buddy. I never doubted the product didn’t work. I ordered it originally but wasn’t thrilled about the color cast. I reordered during black Monday and chose a different color and it works as advertised. I used it in some black sand that supposedly was not worth anything and I got gold from those black sands. I’m color oriented because I’m tired of “prospecting green” that everything comes in. I want to buy one as a raffle donation for my prospecting club for some of the older members who can’t get out to the claims. The Cleanup Buddy is very good for folks who are limited on space but still want to find gold in paydirt.

I do love it, it is easy to use. However it does have some flaws. Pump will get clogged easy. The mouth you drop your dirt in should be a little bigger so at least a severing spoon could be used with out making a mess and the height of the mouth from the conveyor should be a little higher. This would help with the smaller rocks that get stuck in the process. You have to dig them out and they will back flow into the pump area.
